NCGR in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a non-profit research institute dedicated to improving human health and nutrition. NCGR has a national reputation for sequencing and the development of custom bioinformatic resources for research communities. The NCGR Sequencing Center provides CSPro™ massively parallel sequencing services using Illumina® HiSeq 2000 and Pacific Biosciences instruments. NCGR also provides Genotyping, the gold standard for high-throughput SNP screening, and supplies software tools and services for analysis of genome and transcriptome projects worldwide, featuring the award winning Alpheus® software system. Our research staff undertakes services and collaborative programs in a multitude of areas including Cancer, Infectious Diseases, Inherited Childhood Diseases, Legume Biology, Crop Improvement, and Population Genetics. We also provide educational outreach and internship programs.
